Caller ID With RBI Cloud Connect: Show Your Business Number

Are people ignoring your calls because they don't know who's ringing? RBI Cloud Connect's customizable caller ID lets you make business calls from your own mobile phone while showing your company number rather than your personal one, along with key details such as your company name and department.

Caller ID With RBI Cloud Connect: Show Your Business Number

How Caller ID Works

On an incoming call, the caller ID you see normally comes from the phone number tied to the person calling. If you've saved them as a contact, their name appears next to the number. Caller ID details can also come from the caller's SIM card: when their name and other information are stored there, that's what shows up on your screen.

On an outgoing call, you get to decide whether your caller ID is shown at all and which number appears. That's especially handy for salespeople who regularly phone clients from their own cell phones and would rather keep their personal number and details private.

Cover every number, near or far

Caller ID applies to every number in your system, which is a real advantage for sales teams that do a lot of calling. Local presence dialing bundles let reps call from area codes people recognize, so they're more likely to get an answer.

Why Caller ID Helps Your Business

RBI Cloud Connect provides caller ID at three levels: the Main Company Number, the Department and the Individual. When you place a call, identifying details such as your company or department name and your phone number travel to the person you're calling and appear on their screen as the call comes in. Caller ID also makes spam easier to recognize, since those calls tend to show up as unknown or blocked, so you can screen them or send them straight to voicemail.
